The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic R. Carlos Sersale di Cerisano requests the pleasure of your company to the launch of “EVITA – The Life of Eva Perón.” With the presence of author Dr. Jill Hedges -Oxford Analytica, joined by Dr Laurence Whitehead -Oxford University and Dr Maxine Molyneux -UCL Institute of the Americas. Followed by a Q&A While being one of the most renowned figures in Argentine history, Evita is still a source for worldwide admiration as well as controversy.


In her most recent book, Dr. Jill Hedges, Senior Editor for Latin America at Oxford Analytica and author of “Argentina: A modern History”, tackles the life of Eva Perón from a British perspective. For this event, the author will be joined by Dr Laurence Whitehead from the University of Oxford and Dr. Maxine Molyneux, from UCL-Institute of the Americas to discuss Dr Hedges´ books as well as Evita´s life and role in the history of Argentina.
